Emmett has been asking me over the past few weeks to take him to a pumpkin patch to pick out a pumpkin. It is pretty hard to say no to a cute baby faced 4 year old! Phil and I decided today was a perfect day to check out one of the local farms!
The kids had a really good time! The sunflower/corn maze was fun! Sullivan got bored about 1/3 of the way through, but still enjoyed himself. :) There were some fun animals and they even had some robotic chickens that told jokes! Emmett especially loved them! The kettle corn was delicious! So much so that Emmett did not want to share! I was tempted to go and buy more than one bag, but eventually I talked him into sharing with the rest of us! There were fun games set up throughout the farm that Phil was tempted to take pictures of so I could use the fun ideas for cub scouts, but we really did not have time to.
Here are just a few pictures of our afternoon fun! We unfortunately did not get any pumpkins this time. I figured if we did the kids would be wanting to carve tonight. It is just a bit early for me to have some cute jack o lanterns out. Halloween is still not for several weeks! :)
