I am pretty sure I am not the only mother who likes to take pictures of her children while they sleep. I get so caught up with what is going on during the day that I forget to enjoy their youth. They grow way too fast!

Spring Break!!!
I think these kids of mine are pretty great! Here we are today playing in the backyard! Emmett likes to make poison, and Drezden has been enjoying her new jumprope! She earned it from getting 100% on her spelling test! Phil surprised her with it! Sullivan hates taking pictures, but as his mom I don't care! I just want to capture these cute faces before they get even bigger!

Just a little bit about this last week!
Emmett likes to pretend he has long girl hair. He will wear towels, jackets, sweaters, jeans, and Drezden's skirts on his head and tell me he has long hair. Sometimes he will say he has Rainbow Dash hair. Rainbow Dash is a pony from the new My Little Pony series. We like to watch it on Netlfix.
Emmett occasionally will raid Drezden's closet and pick his favorite thing. He tends to favor her clothes over his.
Today we decided to go and see the Temple. I was surprised at how close it is to our home. :)
We ended up walking down a road a little ways and on our way back to the car we had to walk uphill. The kids got tired and luckily there was a small bench, perfect size for the 3 of them, to rest on.
Time for silly faces!

Our weekend
Sullivan woke up Monday morning with symptoms of croup. Everything minus the cough really. I had really hoped Emmett wouldn't catch it, but unfortunately he did. Since Emmett has asthma I am always a little more cautious with him. His breathing on Wednesday night was not improving so I had Phil take him to the ER. He ended up being admitted and was suppose to be observed for a couple of nights, but the doctor released him the next day around 2pm. Emmett really liked the Emmett size fridge that was in his room.
Girl Scout Cookies are our favorite!
Emmett getting a breathing treatment
He had to be silly and wear a towel on his head like his mommy
We have known about the Fremont Troll since we moved here to Washington and we decided it was time to finally head to Seattle and see it. The kids enjoyed it. Lots of people were coming and going so we didn't get to stay too long, but it was still enjoyable.
We finally went to the park about a mile away from home. It was really quite busy and the kids loved it and Drezden especially loved the tire swing!
This is a cute playground that is across the street from Drezden's school.

keeping busy
I just got a new series to read this last week. I am sure a lot of you have heard about Divergent. There will be a movie based on the book coming out soon! I figured I liked The Hunger Games, Obsessed, and The Uglies and The Pretties enough that I would like Divergent just as much. I won't go into any details about the book especially if you are wanting to read it, but I was able to finish the first book this last Saturday. It took me about 6 hours to read, and Phil was such a good sport that he would tend to the kids when they needed something so I could get through my book. I have 2 more to go. Emmett kept insisting that the book was his and he would come up to me occasionally and tell me, "no more words". I think he got tired of me reading and not paying him any attention.
I also signed up for abcmouse.com. Sullivan and Emmett have been enjoying it these last several days we have had it. I am really hoping it will help Sullivan be better prepared and not so behind when he begins kindergarten for the second time this fall. I am always amazed at how kids are like sponges when it comes to learning!
And here is a random video of the kids playing and having some fun. :)

Toca Boca
I am pretty sure I have posted about Toca Boca before... But we just bought a new version of the hairstyle Toca Boca game. You get to take a picture of someone first and then style their hair. Here is an example. Doesn't Phil look great? :) Hahahahahahaha!
Lego Movie
Everything is AWESOME!!!
On Valentines Day Phil and I took the kids to go see The Lego Movie. And it was AWESOME! Well, more for Phil and the kids than me. I got to hold a sleeping Emmett during the entire flick. When we got back into the car to head home Emmett asked if we could go to the theatre and watch Lego Emmet.
Even though he missed out on a fun movie he was able to get some fun pics on the way out of the theatre. :) Emmett is silly!
Happy Late Valentines Day
For Valentines Day this year Phil finally got me a diamond necklace! I have to admit, the kids were a lot more excited about this diamond than I was. Sullivan wanted to know if it really was a real diamond! Drezden and Emmett both wanted to wear it for a bit, and they did.
Minecraft fans- you will really appreciate this gift!

So much in so little time!
The end of 2013 brought so many changes!
-Phil left Fatpot after a year of being with them. He really enjoyed his coworkers there and the lunches and inside jokes.
-Phil got a job offer with Microsoft in Redmond, Washington. He is working for the Visual Studios team, helping with a compiler and other fun things. This new job is actually perfect for him since he was working on the grandmaster C++ compiler for fun! Now he gets paid to do what he was doing as a hobby!
-New job meant moving to a completely new state!
-We left our family, friends, and home in Tooele which is currently a rental.
-We stayed in Temporary housing for a couple months before finding a nice little rental in Kirkland, Washington. Phil's commute is about 15 minutes now, instead of the almost hour each way back at Fatpot.
-We found out we were expecting baby #4 and a few weeks ago we found out we will be having another cute little girl.
-I was called to be a wolf den leader and I will be co leading with my SIL Beth! It will be quite an adventure working with the crazy 8 year old boys! They have a ton of energy!
So far Washington has been a lot of rainy days and staying at home. With me being pregnant I don't feel like doing much outside the home at all. We miss our home back in Utah and sometimes I say we will end up right back there, but for now Phil is getting some valuable work experience and enjoying it as well!
Drezden is enjoying her new school, and it is fun to watch her learn! She is learning to write complete sentences! It is fun to see some of what she comes up with. I try to encourage her as much as possible to sound out words as she writes them.
Sullivan has been busy playing lots of video games. I try to encourage him to play outside more, but with it being rainy and cold I don't blame him.
Emmett has a new obsession with video games as well. It has actually caused us to have to put our xbox away. So we haven't been able to enjoy our usual games or being able to play on xbox live because of it. He is finally weaning himself off the binky! It is pretty exciting! Soon he will be a big boy and we will take the plunge on him being potty trained as well.
Hopefully soon I will get some pictures up!
