Just an Update!

To start off I thought I would mention that Sullivan is officially crawling... he has been crawling for about a couple weeks now. It is crazy how fast they start to take off. He has also started pulling himself up onto things, which means it is time to put the gates up. My DH had made a comment about how he feels bad that we have to do it because Drezden wouldn't be able to get around the house as easily...

My baby brother is in Utah!

Okay, so I haven't seen my baby brother since he was 11, it has been a while since I have seen him and I wasn't sure what to expect... Anyway, he looks the same but of course "bigger". My baby brother is almost 19! I got a few shots of him this week and I thought I would share... I have one of him how I remember him and you will all see he hasn't changed much in looks anyway... so here they are!

Fun at the park!!!

So every Thursday for the last several weeks Phil and I have been babysitting the neighbor kids. It has been really nice for Drezden to have them around. They are older by several years but Drezden enjoys them still. Kayla is 5 and she loves playing with Drezden! Sometimes I think maybe I can handle 4... Michael(6) usually plays xbox360 with Phil the whole time he is here and Sullivan does his own thing. I think Phil is looking forward to when our kids can play video games with him.
Kayla is like a little mom. She loves to help Drezden with everything. Just a little earlier she had complained a little about Drezden having a runny nose and so she went and got a tissue and wiped Drezden's nose for me... not very many little kids would do that, I am sure most kids would be repulsed by the snot.
Well, today is the last official babysitting job and we decided since the weather has been so lovely that we would take all the kids to the park. They had a lot of fun and I got some good shots of them all playing. It was nice and I got to use my new BOB Revolution Dullie Stroller. I am so excited about it. I plan on walking a lot this summer. Well enjoy the pics!!!

Drezden wore pig tails all day long!

Okay, so this is a little random and maybe even a little lame but I was so happy that Drezden had cute hair all day! Well, as cute as a 1 year old basically can... She wore pig tails all day long. On occassion she will let me do something with her hair and usually right after she undos what I did. But today was a different story... yay!!! She kept them in and yes they are still in even now!
So earlier I thought she was pretty cute and I decided to snap a few photos of her before she took them out. I didn't think she would keep them in, anyway... here are a few photos of her with her cute hair!

Birthday's Galore!

So this weekend Phil, the kids and I celebrated several family members birthdays. It was really nice to visit with both sides for a little bit on Saturday.
My grandma is 68 today and my uncle just turned the big 4-0... and then Phils younger brother by a year or two will be having a birthday soon... Since he is a leap year baby he just celebrates his birthday when it is convenient.
We celebrated my uncle and grandmas birthday with a quaint bbg in the backyard and then we headed to payson for a round of bowling and cake to celebrate Michael... Happy Birthday to you all!!!

Happy Valentines Day!

So this year for Valentines Day my DH got me a canon eos 50d. I am so excited. I need to learn how to use photoshop now... Here are a few pictures I have taken with it so far... Remember when you look at them that I just got the camera and so I am learning how to use it and will eventually learn all its functions too!!!








I think they turned out nice for a beginner. Thanks Phil for my new camera!!!!

Drezden and the potty

I thought this was cute watching her learn... I am so excited that she is catching on with the whole pulling your pants down when you go on the potty and pulling them up when you are off the potty.
